Why do I need to attach a UBL or XML file to the mail?

We can only send electronic invoices when you submit them in UBL (XML) format, or in one of the other electronic formats.

A PDF invoice is not an e-invoice and cannot be converted by us. When you send an e-invoice to your customer (the e-mail address ends at @invoices.tradeinterop.com) you must therefore add at least one UBL (XML) or other electronic format invoice. The PDF invoice can be added as an attachment.

If you send an e-mail without a valid electronic format, we will return an error message.
